Arun is the living embodiment of the primal creative element of fire As one of the original Elder Gods, Arun is timeless, knows of no place in time where he was not and has been present since the dawn of creation, just as he will be at the end of it. When the world was made, he created the sun to imbue the world with boundless energy in all shapes.
Arun has always been a withdrawn and contemplative being, whose inclination was to observe rather than act, a suitable counterweight to his impulsive consort Miran whom he has always cared deeply for.
Although he is acknowledged and respected as a primal force in Éran, Arun is very rarely worshipped. He answers no prayers nor does he intervene in the affairs of mortals. Since the time he supported his children against the wrath of Miran, he has withdrawn from the world, weighed down by losing his consort through his own misjudgement. He is resigned to simply watching creation unfold and pass and wait to take an active role when he is once again united with all the other Elder Gods.
Arun is nonetheless not entirely passive. He watches over his favoured creations, the dragons, whom he feels have always stayed true to his vision. The dragons in turn revere him as one of the true deities of the world, considering the young gods little more than impostors, children of creation just as themselves, not lords of it.

There should be a Gods and Goddesses section in Strolen.com. :)
System Post, Divine, usually specific.
Deities are not NPCs, nor do they need their own section.
There are some scrolls and codices that collect them. Check those Cheka.
I voted on the set, not on the pieces. Since I have 23 votes today and nothing new to vote on (HINT), this shall be corrected.
I do like the exprssion of these deities. They are solid write ups without going into tedieous detail. However, there is nothing else to really hang anything else on to this write up. Yes he is disengaged, but what else. Still Like the set, hope to collect them all.
Agree with Moon. There is no real life to this apart from being a solid description.
