Full Description

With its smaller body, slightly longer legs and tail, and adapted feet, it is much nimbler on trees than a common fox that does not enter this domain so frequently.

Additional Information

The Mirruva Fox is an excellent hunter, that can be trained to locate, and hunt down game if sufficiently small. Given its ability on trees it is best in bringing down birds, squirrels, and finding other useful forest resources.

Since it is not as majestic as birds of prey, it is rarely used by the nobles and royalty, but is more favoured by the common hunters and poachers. The training is fairly easy, and a cub can bond quickly to its master, but a major diffilcuty is its lack of trust. It has good memory of creatures (and people), and anyone that harms it even a single time, will never be trusted by it. Even a little accident as stepping on its foot can destroy the relationship between a fox and its master. Therefore, it is not rare to turn such a fox into a gift to another hunter, once it has become accustomed to living with humans.

Its adaptability and contact with civilised folk has led it closer to their settlements and into cities, living of all the scraps that can be found there. It has become the ghost of many roofs, scourge of pigeons, even a thief, entering through windows open to the night - stealing food only despite the stories. Foxes stealing jewelry are thieve's assistents.

Naturally, in most cities are laws that command their extermination... what a luck so many abandoned places and run-down neighbourhoods still exist.
