History of Hewdamia
In the early days of Hewdamia, the Gods squabbled over the world and took what they could from the each other. There was little here but water and soil, yet the Three Gods fought over it still. The arrival of the newer Gods marked a turning point in the world as well as the Gods. The arrival marked the beginning of a war that wouldn’t see the first blow for centuries.
The history of Hewdamia is long and filled with troubled times. From the warring of the gods to the razing of magic. From the burning of the dragons to the flood of the corrupted. The lands of Hewdamia have seen strife and fought for their lives for every inch and every breath.
The current struggle that is active when the game begins. There is a shift happening in the eight gods. The two gods Sethalis and Scelaris are plotting to try and rid themselves of their fellow dieties followers. They have begun an invasion of sorts beginning with the coastal waters of the Olwynn Territory and the Kingdom of Cereb. Their corrupted are pushing through civilized lands and burning everything.
In the meantime a god though lost during the War of the Gods is presumably resurfasing, or his followers are making it seem like he is. There is also a push by the Demon spys to try and open the Demon Gates to their homeworld and push Hewdamia into a tumult of chaos. Rumors of another God being worshiped in the south being the One True God is also trickling in from caravans and merchants alike. With so many different factions trying to gain control and power there are plenty of hidden agendas and numerous opportunists willing to take the easy path to power.
This is the written tale of their struggle.

With nearly 1000 years of there being an absence of the Gods that fell in the war of the Gods, things began to change. No one knows why but a shift in the politics of the Gods came to startling events.

Right after the 1000 years of human prosperity, it all suddenly came crashing down. Mortals became cocky with the returned use of magic. They were soon tested with the arrival of Dubaku’s children. While he was long lost to history, his children finally awoke.

The second era started off in better light than the 1st era ended. For almost 500 years there was a rebuilding going on with the Gison, continued growth for the Olwynn, and understanding with the Derevo about the different factions in their families. Like all things, this time had come to and end.

Okay
This is a useful codex for keeping all the histories in one easy to reach place. It will also allow you to do 'supplimentry history' pieces and keep it all gathered.
That was my intent. I just hope the size doesn't run people off.
Updated: Added a few touches of recent history.
A vote seems so petty for a work of this size.
Perhaps that is why the codex as a whole is unvoted while the different posts are given both excellent comments and votes.
Nothing less than a clear 5.0.
Hewdamia is truly taking shape as a real place.

Quite the exhaustive work! Really cool!
Quite honestly this is really only a small portion of it. It has grown as I have gamed with my group and filled in blanks as questions were asked or as the game progressed... sad I will probably never update it.
