This rank system lists the basic European equivalent of the Chinese titles of nobility.
Shi - Knight. This social class was distinguished by their right to ride in chariots and command battles from mobile chariots, while they also served civil functions.
Nan - Baron
Zi - Viscount
Bo - Count
Hou - Marquis
Gong - Duke or Prince
Wang - King
Huangdi - Emperor

I am not as impressed by this one, as I can get more information in under 3 seconds with one google search.
There is not enough detail to be really useful or give someone a sense for how this ranking system works together. What qualifies as a Baron or Count or Marquis in The West is very dfferent than what qualifies someone as a Nan, Bo, or Hou. These ranks provide a loose guideline for social positioning, but really don't provide much explanation as to anything about this.
Definite stub material here I'm afraid.
